tongue piercing pain? |
|
ok i've been watching videos of people getting their tongues pierced. not one person says "ouch" or flinches or anything. if i ask people how much it hurt they all want to act tough and say they didn't even feel it. i never know if they're honest or not. can someone tell me the real pain involved? i know each person is different. i got my nose pierced, it hurt a bit, not much at all tho. can anyone give me a comparison or something? i'd really like to get it done soon. thank u all so much. |

harleygirl:I just want to add that I was talking to my physical therapist about the piercing (I have a shoulder injury) and she confirmed that the arteries from the tongue run directly to the heart and you can get an infection from the piercing. She remembered hearing about the same thing I was talking about.

harleygirl:
I don't know about pain, but I have read medical reports about the danger of tongue piercing; it's been linked to a deadly blood disorder. Doctors have discovered that infection from the piercing has caused the blood vessel that runs to the heart to become inflamed and people have heart attacks or end having to have surgery to repair the damage to heart valves. I'd think long and hard before having this done.
