Relationship please help

I have been dating this guy long distance for 10 months, he asked me to marry him after 7 months and I said yes. 2 days after I moved he told me he did not know what he wanted and needed some space. He talks about getting back together and he says he still wants to get married but I don't know if he is just telling me this b/c he is trying not to hurt me any more then he already has. What should I do?

I think things moved too quickly, and the reality of the situation hit him and he panicked. He may still want to get married, but he knows he rushed it. Give him time and space. Make yourself less available to him, and see if the heart grows fonder or if he's relieved.

You can't possibly know each other well enough after 7 months of a long distance relationship to make such a committment - it seems he realized that after you arrived.

Don't wait around for him to figure out whether he loves you or not, give him all the time and space in the world and go on with your life. Learn from your mistakes and take your time with your future relationships.
