electrical problem

i have two switches and a recepticle in a bedroom that suddenly stopped working. once or twice they came back on only to go off and have been off now for about a month. they are close to each other. all other switches and receptacles in room work (about 6). when tested with a neon probe, the non working switches and receptacle are all hot even though not working! any thoughts johnny? thanks, tamara at ninerdyhrd@comcast.net

Ricky:

It sounds like you have some loose wires on the receptacles. I would highly recommend that you call in an electrician ASAP to prevent any terrible tragedies.
