You sound like you are very young. Jealousy among the "people" could be the reason they are trying to poison your relationship with your girlfriend. This happened to me when I was a teenager when one boy who liked me found out I had started a relationship with one of his friends. He tried to ruin the relationship by telling my boyfriend I had been with him and was a slut. Sounds so familiar.

You should do what you feel is right and not respond only to what "people" say. If you have reason to suspect your girfriend's fidelity, do some investigating on your own before you condem and dump her.
